From Music to Community: Stolie’s Journey and What It Can Teach Us About Prosperity in Motherhood

Nov 24, 2025

Motherhood has a way of awakening something deeper in us. It’s not just about raising our children — it’s about asking What kind of world am I helping to create for them?

Our Magic Mom of the Month for November, Rebecca Stoelinga — “Stolie” — is a beautiful example of what happens when a mother follows that question all the way to its natural, inspired answer.

Stolie is the founder and director of La BiB (Biblioteca Infantil Bilingüe), a bilingual children’s library in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, dedicated to promoting literacy, creativity, and cultural connection through language and art.

A mom to a 5-year-old, she’s deeply passionate about creating spaces where families can learn and connect across cultures — where children see their stories reflected, and where language becomes a bridge instead of a barrier.

Originally from Chicago, Stolie has lived in Puerto Vallarta for 11 years, where she also performs as a musician and songwriter. With more than a dozen albums of original music for both children and adults, her work has long been about expression, play, and connection. In March 2025, she published her first bilingual children’s picture book: Keep Your Paws to Yourself, adapted from one of her original songs — yet another way she weaves music, story, and language into the lives of families.

Through her art, writing, and community projects, Stolie is constantly doing what so many of us in motherhood feel called to do: connect cultures and generations through the universal language of music, stories, and shared experiences.

What Stolie’s Story Reflects Back to Us as Moms

When we look at what Stolie has created — albums, performances, a bilingual library, a children’s book — it’s easy to see the results

But underneath those results is a pattern that many magic moms will recognize:

  • A willingness to follow her creativity, even when it doesn’t fit a traditional path
  • A deep commitment to community and connection
  • A belief that her gifts and her motherhood can coexist and enhance each other

This is a powerful reminder that prosperity in motherhood is not just about money. It’s about:

  • Having the space and support to bring your ideas to life
  • Creating work that feels aligned with who you are
  • Impacting your family and your wider community in a meaningful way

That’s the kind of prosperity that radiates — the kind that Stolie models so beautifully through La BiB, through her music, and through the way she chooses to live and create in Puerto Vallarta.

The Heart of the Magic Mom Collective

Women like Stolie are exactly why the Magic Mom Collective exists.

This collective is a space for moms who are:

  • Nurturing big-hearted dreams alongside their children
  • Ready to step into more visibility, impact, and prosperity
  • Longing to be surrounded by other women who understand the unique blend of devotion, ambition, and intuition that lives inside motherhood

In the Magic Mom Collective, we honor stories like Stolie’s not just as inspiration, but as evidence: evidence that you, too, can shape a life where your creativity, your values, your work, and your family all have room to breathe.

If you’ve been feeling the nudge for community — to be seen, supported, and held while you grow — consider this your invitation to explore what the Magic Mom Collective could mean for you.

Stepping Into Your Own Prosperity

Alongside celebrating incredible women like Stolie, I also created Prosperity Launchpad as a practical, energetic, and emotional container to support moms who are ready for their next level.

Prosperity Launchpad is for you if you’re feeling called to:

  • Redefine what prosperity truly means in this season of motherhood or if you are a busy woman feeling the call
  • Bring a project, offer, or creative idea into form — or expand what you’ve already started in an aligned way
  • Shift from scarcity, self-doubt, or “who am I to do this?” into grounded confidence and receiving

It’s not about hustling harder. It’s about aligning your work, your time, and your energy with what actually matters to you — so that what you’re creating feels sustainable and nourishing.

A Gentle Reflection for You

As we honor Magic Mom of the Month, Stolie, I invite you to sit with a few questions:

  • Where is your unique journey asking to unfold — even if it doesn’t look like anyone else’s?
  • What vision for your family, your work, or your community keeps returning to you, no matter how often you try to quiet it?
  • What might be possible if you had support, structure, and sisterhood as you said yes to that vision?

You don’t have to have it all figured out to take your next step.

You’re welcome inside the Magic Mom Collective, and — if it resonates — into Prosperity Launchpad as a grounded, guided way to expand what’s possible for you.

Because when moms like you and Stolie thrive, the ripple reaches far beyond our own homes — into our neighborhoods, our cultures, and ultimately, our children’s futures.
