Meet Jessy Ruiz

Born in Mexico City and raised between Mexico and the United States, Jessy Ruiz has always been captivated by the magic of radio. Communication hasn’t always come easy, but Jessy’s passion for connecting with others has been a guiding force since childhood. Today, she calls Puerto Vallarta home, where she’s become a familiar voice and face in local media.

Jessy is the creator of “ASPHALT: Vallarta’s Own Local All-English Radio Show,” a program that not only celebrates classic rock (a genre she believes will never go out of style!) but also gives a voice to the English-speaking community in the Bay Area. She’s also the co-producer and co-host of the first English televised newscast in the region, delivering stories that matter and helping bridge cultures every day.

But Jessy’s impact goes far beyond the air waves. She’s passionate about giving back, setting a positive example for her daughter, and helping brands and companies create lasting, positive impressions. 

Whether she’s hosting, narrating, presenting, or representing a brand, Jessy brings warmth, professionalism, and a genuine desire to connect.
